The second phase of the Budget Session of Parliament begins today and will continue till March. The Lok Sabha Secretariat has included the opposition's no-confidence motion to remove Om Birla as Speaker in the list of business to be transacted in the House today. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that after 39 years, the no-confidence motion against the Lok Sabha Speaker will be discussed in the House, for which both the ruling and opposition parties are preparing to discuss. The list is ready. The Congress has also held a meeting and prepared a strategy. So the Congress has given a three-day whip to its Lok Sabha members to be present in the House from 9 to 11 March at any cost. The party high command will take a strict decision against those who will not come. Three Congress MPs Mohammad Javed, K Suresh and Mallu Ravi will move a no-confidence motion in the Lok Sabha. On the call of the Speaker, 50 members in favour of the motion will stand up and support it. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will not be present in the House today.
