Nomination Process for Urban Bodies in Jaipur District Underway

The election process is being conducted for a total of 690 wards in the urban bodies of the district. On the first day, the highest number of nominations were filed in Jaipur Municipal Corporation with 13 nominations filed by 11 candidates. Apart from this, 7 nominations were filed in Chaumu, 4 in Shahpura, 4 in Bagru, 10 in Chaksu, 2 in Jamwaramgarh, 5 in Manoharpur, 2 in Fagi and 1 in Kanota. The nomination process started in 19 urban bodies of Jaipur district, including Jaipur, Chaumu, Shahpura, Bagru, Bassi, Chaksu, Dudu, Jamwaramgarh, Jobner, Kaladera, Kanota, Kishangarh-Rainwal, Khejroli Manoharpur, Naraina, Fagi, Phulera, Sambhar and Vatika. As per the schedule of the Rajasthan State Election Commission, the process of filing nominations will be expedited in the coming days.
