Nomination Process Intensifies in Datia Assembly By-Election

On the fourth day of the nomination process on Thursday, the electoral stir for the Datia assembly by-election is gathering steam. On the fourth day of the nomination process, the Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) candidate Damodar Singh Yadav filed his nomination and made the first formal nomination of this by-election. His brother Keshav Yadav was also present. Damodar Singh Yadav will try his luck in this election on the'kettle'symbol. Damodar Singh Yadav reached the tehsil office at the Datia Collectorate, where he submitted his nomination before the returning officer. With his nomination, the electoral activities of the Datia by-election have intensified. Now everyone is keeping an eye on the nomination of the candidates of other parties. The district administration had made elaborate security arrangements for the peaceful completion of the nomination process. Only the candidate and the authorized people were allowed to enter the premises. Supporters and workers were stopped at the main gate. Police force was deployed in the entire complex and strict security arrangements were now in place. Most of the political leaders and senior ministers of the BJP are expected to file their nominations on Friday.
