NTA Opens Application Process for All India Sainik School Entrance Examination

In fact, NTA has started the application process for All India Sainik School Entrance Examination for the academic session 2027. Parents of eligible students can apply online by visiting the official website of NTA for admission to classes 6 and 9 of 33 existing Sainik Schools across the country as well as new Sainik Schools approved by the Ministry of Defence. The last date for submission of online applications without any late fee has been fixed by 2nd December 2026 at 11:50 pm. The age of students for admission to Sainik Schools will be calculated on the basis of 31st March 2027. For class 6, the student must be born between 1st April 2015 to 31st March 2017. The same student must be studying or passing in class 5. For class 9, the candidate must be born between 1st April 2012 to 31st March 2014. The student must be enrolled in class 8th under a different category of Sainik Schools across the country.
