Bhubaneswar: The second phase of the Budget Session of the Assembly began today. The House continued with the usual Question Hour. Departmental Ministers started the second phase of the Assembly Budget Session. Departmental Ministers are replying to the questions of MLAs. The second phase will continue till April 8. In the first phase, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, who holds the Finance portfolio, presented a budget of ₹1 crore for the financial year. In the second phase, department-wise expenditure will be discussed and the state government will pass the Appropriation Bill on March 31.
