Bhubaneswar: Students of Odisha are showing interest in studying through smartphones. Smartphones and internet usage is increasing rapidly among not only students, but also teachers and teachers. The second edition of'India Survey for EdTech'published by Central Square Foundation (CSF), working with the Department of Mass Education, has revealed this fact. According to the report, 40 percent of students in the state are using various digital materials for studies. 94 percent of households have at least one smartphone and 68 percent of households have multiple smartphones. About 71 percent of students have access to smartphones. Although most of the students rely on phones of other family members, 90 percent of them can easily access the internet. Fifty-eight percent of students in the state have access to edtech devices and 40 percent of them are actively using YouTube.
