Owaisi Offers Alliance to SP and Congress, But Both Parties Unresponsive

With Uttar Pradesh gearing up for next year's assembly elections, political parties are busy calculating electoral equations. Meanwhile, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi has made a big statement about an alliance with the Samajwadi Party and the Congress. During a private channel program, Owaisi said that elections and alliances are not forced. He had offered an alliance to both the SP and the Congress for the UP elections, but according to Hyderabad MP Owaisi, both parties did not respond to it. Now his statement comes at a time when the date given by Owaisi to the SP-Congress for alliance talks is near. On the other hand, Asaduddin Owaisi is engaged in strengthening his political ground in the SP stronghold. Owaisi will start rallies in UP from October 4. According to the proposed rallies, Owaisi will hold meetings with his party leaders in areas where the Samajwadi Party and its Basti influence is bad. Owaisi's public meeting program in the new assembly constituency will now be postponed.
