Lok Sabha MP from Hyderabad and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi is generally considered to be the leader of the'Muslim Party '. In recent times, he has taken a step that has caused a stir in the political corridors. Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections 2027, his party has announced to give a ticket to a Brahmin face. This is part of Owaisi's strategy, which political analysts are calling'Brahmin card'or'Brahmin love '. In the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, Owaisi's party AIMIM fielded a Hindu Brahmin candidate for the first time. Pandit Manmohan Jha alias Gama was given a ticket from Sahibabad Assembly seat in Ghaziabad district. Pandit Manmohan Jha had been in the Samajwadi Party (SP) for 24 years. He joined AIMIM after being denied a ticket from SP. Out of 66 candidates in AIMIM's 2022 election list, 11 were from the Hindu community. That is, 16 percent. Owaisi said that he would have put up a Brahmin candidate if he had'not'chosen'the community.
