Pakistan Introduces New System for Family ID Registration, Simplifying Reunification Process

PPP State Coordinator Dr. Satish Khola said that this decision will benefit thousands of families and will solve many practical problems related to family ID. He said that men whose name has been registered in the in-laws ID for some reason will now be able to reunite with their family. The person concerned with the advertisement will have to go to the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) office of their district and file a complaint. This complaint will be registered on the portal through the field coordinator or programmer, after which the ADC will investigate and approve. Dr. Khola said that if the wife and children are registered in a separate family ID, then they can also be added after approval. If the wife and children are also included in the in-laws ID, then the whole family will be transferred to the original family ID together. This will keep all the members of the family registered under the same ID and there will be no hindrance in getting the benefits of government schemes. Dr. Khola said that the government is taking steps to make the process of filing complaints under the prescribed appeals and public interest groups of the affected families transparent and transparent.
