Pakistan to Host US-Iran Peace Agreement Signing Ceremony: A Historic Milestone Towards Peace

Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif has announced in the Parliament that Pakistan will host the signing ceremony of the peace agreement between the United States and Iran in Switzerland. Shehbaz Sharif said in this regard, It is not just an agreement between two countries, but it is a success of peace and dialogue. It is a diplomatic success. He further said that this conflict had created a serious threat to the global energy infrastructure. At the same time, Shehbaz Sharif praised Field Marshal Asim Munir of Pakistan that he had played an active role in dousing the fire of this war and establishing peace. Shahbaz described the agreement between the United States and Iran as a historic milestone towards peace. He appreciated the new beginning that took place after three months and 16 days of many efforts, when the United States and Iran announced an immediate and permanent cessation of military action, including in Lebanon. He said that throughout the negotiations, both the leadership of the United States and Iran have shown patience and understanding to the entire world as a result of the US President Trump's announcement on this day.
