Pakistan's Defense Minister Accuses India of Waging Proxy War Through Drones

Khawaja Asif, Pakistan's defense minister, has made another absurd claim. Khawaja Asif says that India has waged a proxy war against Pakistan and is sending Israeli-made drones to Afghanistan hidden in medical aid boxes. However, this is not the first time Khawaja Asif has called the Taliban, once a favorite of the Pakistani army, acting on India's behest. Asif has previously claimed without evidence that India is using Afghanistan to pressure Pakistan's western border. Pakistan's defense minister's claim has been rejected by India's Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), calling it a fabricated and unfounded theory. The Ministry of External Affairs has said that such statements are aimed at distracting attention from Pakistan's internal security and governance problems. The Indian government considers these statements by Pakistan to be desperate attempts to hide regional instability, human rights issues, and internal failures.
