Pakistan's ISI Uses Political Parties to Support Terrorist Organizations

Interrogation of the arrested OGWs has revealed that some of them are also active in the guise of political parties. Their objective is to provide logistical support, recruitment and funding to terrorist organisations. According to sources, this strategy of ISI is an attempt to give a'local movement'look to terrorist activities and hide Pakistan's direct role. Efforts are also being made to reactivate old and defunct terrorist organisations such as Al-Umar Mujahideen, Al Badr and Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen. Advertising Trending Videos Security agencies say that in the past, suspects have been using documents such as voter IDs and Aadhaar cards to evade arrest, and are now trying to resort to membership cards of political parties. Officials clarified that no political leadership has any connection with these activities. Also, security agencies are keeping a close watch on these networks and no conspiracy is being successful and the security agencies are continuously taking action against the terrorist ideology so that peace and stability is maintained in the region.
