Pakistan's Mediation Efforts in US-Iran Conflict Hit Roadblock

There is no end to the war between the US and Iran. Pakistan remains a mediator to end the war between these two countries. However, it has not been successful so far. Pakistan's Army Chief Asim Munir has reached Tehran. Asim Munir has arrived for talks. But after the US President's sanctions imposed some time ago, the Iranian President has become angry with the Army Chief. He has said that America has to change its tone first. According to Iranian media, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian told Pakistan's Army Chief Asim Munir that Washington has to change its tone and approach when dealing with Tehran. During the meeting, Pezeshkian said, "Dependence on coercion and bullying will complicate the implementation process." A week before Asim Munir's visit to Iran, US President Donald Trump spoke to him on the phone. Trump himself said that Asim came to Iran's table again and warned Munir that he had given economic support to Iran at any time.
