New Delhi, તા.18: The paper leak controversy of the country's largest medical entrance exam'NEET-UG 2026'has now created a furore in the political and academic circles across the country. Parliament, the country's highest body, has now gone into direct action mode over the matter amid outrage from lakhs of students and parents. The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education, Women, Children, Youth and Sports, chaired by senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh, has taken the matter very seriously and has issued strict summons to top officials of the National Testing Agency (NTA), including its chairman Pradeep Kumar Joshi, and Vineet Joshi, Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, to appear in person on 21 May. According to the official notice issued by the Rajya Sabha, the high-profile meeting will seek answers from the top officials of the ministry on how far the investigation into the alleged paper leak has reached and what radical reforms are to be carried out in the NTA to prevent such malpractices in the future.
