Patiala Voters List Row: MP's Family Members Receive Notices Amid Controversy

In Punjab, a special intensive voters list revision (SIR) process is underway in Patiala. Meanwhile, a case has come to light involving the family of Congress MP Dr. Dharamvira Gandhi. During the SIR, Dr. Gandhi's name was not entered in the voters list. Later, his name was entered in the list as per the prescribed procedure. However, in this entire case, now the notice issued to other members of his family has been issued. Dr. Dharamvira Gandhi says that he did not receive any notice personally in this case. His name was later entered in the voters list. Then the other members of the family have been issued notices. Many questions are now being raised about this. Dr. Gandhi said that four members of his family have been issued notices. These include his wife, son, daughter and daughter-in-law. His wife also has a diplomatic passport. The MP says that he has documents related to all these family members. Dr. Dharamvira Gandhi said that the data of the family members has not been made available yet.
