Petrol and Diesel Prices in India Remain Unchanged as Global Crude Oil Prices Stay Elevated

Petrol and diesel prices today remain at yesterday's levels. State-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) have not made any changes in them, while crude oil prices in the international market remain at elevated levels. Petrol price in Delhi is 102.12 rupees per litre. Diesel rate here is 95.20 rupees. Petrol and diesel rates across the country were last changed on 25 May. Then oil companies raised petrol price by ₹2.61 per litre and diesel price by ₹2.71 per litre. City-wise petrol and diesel prices today, 6 September 2026, crude oil prices remain at elevated levels in the global market. However, today being a Sunday, new live trading is closed in the commodity market, so as per the closing price of the last trading session (Friday evening), the global benchmark prices are as follows: Global benchmark Brent crude closed around 95.85 to 96.28 dollars per barrel for the last few days.
