Petrol Bomb Attack Hits Home of Former Bangladesh Cricket Captain Shakib Al Hasan

The attack was carried out hours after former Bangladesh cricket captain's house was attacked with petrol bombs. The attack took place hours after former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina attended a press conference in New Delhi on Wednesday. The incident took place at the former Bangladesh MP's house in Magura-1. It is reported that some fundamentalist groups threw several petrol bombs at the house of Shakib Al Hasan, former captain of the Bangladesh national cricket team and former MP from the constituency of Magura. The incident came to light at around 8.45 pm. The house was also vandalized. Shakib also spoke with Sheikh Hasina during a press conference at the Foreign Correspondents'Club in New Delhi. The police gave information in this regard, saying that hours after former Bangladesh captain and former MP Shakib Al Hasan attended the media event of deposed PM Sheikh Hasina in New Delhi, his house in Magura district was allegedly attacked by people. Shakib Al Hasan, former captain of the Bangladesh national cricket team and former MP of Magura Sadar police station was also attacked at 9 am.
