Pillar Collapse at Indian School Leaves Student Dead and Watchman Injured

According to the information, at the time of the incident, the teacher along with the main gate's pillar was being removed. During this time the pillar suddenly collapsed. Student Yash and school watchman Uday were seriously injured due to the rubble of the pillar. Soon after the incident, there was a panic. Critically injured student Yash was immediately admitted to Bhagat Phool Singh Government Women's Medical College in Khanpur, where doctors declared him dead during treatment. The injured watchman Uday has been discharged from the hospital after giving first aid. The Block Education Officer along with his team reached the spot and took stock of the situation. Gannaur Police Station has taken possession of the body and started further legal action. Police and Education Department teams are thoroughly investigating the cause of the accident.
