PM Modi Campaigns in Puducherry Ahead of Assembly Elections

In Puducherry, PM Modi held a roadshow on Friday to campaign for the assembly elections. People on both sides of the road greeted him with chants of'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'and'Jai Shri Ram '. Some foreign nationals were also seen at the roadshow. Their enthusiasm was also visible. They captured PM Modi's roadshow on their mobiles. PM Modi appealed to vote for the AINRC-BJP alliance in the assembly elections. He held a roadshow along with AINRC founder and Chief Minister N. Rangasamy and BJP leader and Home Minister A. Namassivayam from Ajanta Signal Point to Kamarajar Statue / Raja Theatre Signal, about 2 km away. The roadshow lasted for about an hour, with people showering flowers. After the roadshow, Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to Chennai and will stay at a hotel in Guindy. Then he will hold a meeting with BJP leaders on April 4. PM Modi will visit Chennai and tell the state police to make security arrangements in Chennai.
