PM Modi Ganga Expressway UP: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hand over the longest expressway of Uttar Pradesh to the country today. With the start of the 594 km long Ganga Expressway, the distance from Meerut to Prayagraj will be reduced to just 6 hours. This 6-lane expressway will make Uttar Pradesh a powerhouse of logistics. PM Modi is going to inaugurate the Ganga Expressway today. With the opening of this expressway built at a cost of Rs 37000 crores, Uttar Pradesh will get a gift of Rs 47000 crores. It will not just be a road project but will turn Uttar Pradesh into an industrial hub. 12 industrial nodes are being developed along the expressway, for which 6507 acres of land has been identified. So far 987 investment proposals have been received. The UP government will get an investment of about Rs 47000 crores from this expressway. The 12 districts, Meerut, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Amroha, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Haridwar, Raebareli, Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, are going to build the expressway.
