Meanwhile, he discussed with the local authorities about the functioning of polling personnel and the law and order situation. Speaking to the media after the meeting, he said that tight security arrangements have been made at all polling stations in the city. Polling will be held at 4172 booths in 1316 locations in the city. 419 locations in the city have been declared sensitive. According to the Commissioner of Police, 2 polling stations in the city are in the hyper-sensitive category. More than 8000 Home Guards and 7 CRPF personnel will also be deployed to maintain peace on the polling day.
