Prashant Kishor to Contest Bankipur Assembly By-Election in Bihar

The political heat is on for the upcoming assembly by-elections in Bihar. In Patna, Manoj Bharti has officially announced the name of Prashant Kishor to contest from Bankipur assembly seat. After the announcement of Prashant Kishor as a candidate, now the whole picture of Bankipur assembly by-election has changed. After Prashant Kishor's decision to contest the election, there is a huge enthusiasm among the workers of the area. Strategies are being made to intensify the campaign in this seat in the coming days. This seat has been vacated after BJP national president Nitin Navin resigned, as he was called to Delhi via Rajya Sabha after being elected as BJP national president. After this, he resigned from Bankipur assembly seat. Recently, the Election Commission of India announced the election schedule for the by-elections to three assembly seats of Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat, under which voting will be held on 30 July and counting of votes will be done on 3 August. The notification for filing nominations will be started by the commission on 6 July.
