Principal Accused of Suppressing Arms Smuggling Investigation at Adagara College

Principal Dr Chitra Kumar Gautam is accused of trying to suppress orders for administrative action by using his position and influence in a serious case involving arms smuggling. Former principal Dr Anurag Shukla had filed a complaint with the Raj Bhavan with evidence. The Raj Bhavan has written to the vice-chancellor, seeking a report within 15 days. The university administration has also swung into action. The registrar has written to the police commissioner, asking him to investigate the arms smuggling case against Dr CK Gautam. The history of domination and administrative tussle between the current and former principals of Adagara College goes back a long way. There have been many allegations from both sides in the past, but this time the case has become very sensitive as it is directly linked to criminal charges like arms smuggling. The complaint in the case of the principal of Agra College will be investigated as per rules.
