On Thursday (August 6), students, parents and villagers were angry over the lack of teachers in the government higher secondary school of Arani Nadi (Mangal Nagar) located in Balaji Nagar of Luni area in Jodhpur. Angry people locked the gate of the school and sat on a dharna there and shouted slogans against the education department. The protesters say that the vacant posts of teachers have not been filled for a long time, which is badly affecting the studies of the children. The villagers said that more than 30 students are studying in the 11th and 12th classes of the arts faculty in the school, but not a single lecturer (first grade teacher) has been appointed for them. The post of the second grade teacher of the mathematics subject is also vacant for a long time. In such a situation, the students are not getting regular education and the preparation of the examination is also being affected. During the protest, the villagers alleged that the educational system of the school has completely collapsed due to the acute shortage of teachers. They say that the lack of teachers in the subject is severely affecting the education system.
