Protests Erupt in Punjab Against AAP Government Over Exam Controversy

As the 2027 Assembly elections in Punjab draw closer, all-round protests have erupted against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government. Opposition parties and various organisations have joined in to corner the government on the issue of mismanagement. Wednesday was full of protests, with the government facing sharp criticism from all sides. The recent'Pharmacy Officer Recruitment Exam'is mired in controversy over allegations of rigging and alleged paper leaks. The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) went on a rampage demanding the resignation of Punjab Education Minister Harjot Bains. When the workers tried to march towards the Punjab Assembly, the Chandigarh Police heavily barricaded and used water cannons to stop them. Gaurav Sohal of Panjab University also came out with a statement that we are demanding the resignation of Education Minister Harjot Bains. Exams are being leaked in Punjab and our responsibility is not being fixed in the 15 days of the youth movement.
