Punjab CM Criticizes Indo-US Treaty Over Concerns for Farmers

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has launched a scathing attack on the Central Government over the Indo-US treaty. He said that the agreement was discussed in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha on Tuesday and it could have serious implications on the farmers of the state. Chief Minister Mann said that there is a big difference in the agricultural structure of the US and India. He said that the average size of farms in the US is about 500 acres, while in Punjab it is about 2.50 acres.
