Meanwhile, Himachal CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that he had called Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann over the matter but could not speak to him. He also spoke to Punjab Pradesh Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring and Leader of Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa. He urged them to make concessional passes for the people of the border areas. Reacting to the advertisement, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that the entry tax imposed by Himachal Pradesh is not fair.
