Punjab Congress in Turmoil: Channi Demands Change in Party President Ahead of Assembly Elections

Punjab Congress is in turmoil ahead of next year's assembly elections. Meanwhile, former CM and Lok Sabha MP Charanjit Singh Channi held a big meeting with the leaders of his camp in Chamkaur Sahib. According to sources, Charanjit Singh Channi along with the leaders of his camp will go to Delhi and meet the top leadership. Channi has also formed a committee which will talk to the high command. This committee includes Charanjit Singh Channi himself, Rana Gurjit, Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa, OP Soni and Bharat Bhushan Ashu Bajwa. According to sources, Channi will say in front of the high command that the current Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring is not acceptable. The command should be given to someone else in place of Warring. Sources said that Channi said in the meeting, "If this does not happen, then me and the leaders of my camp will sit at home."
