A political controversy has once again erupted over the fairness of government recruitment examinations in Punjab. Punjab BJP president Sunil Jakhar has demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the entire matter, alleging discrepancies in the declared result of the PCS main examination of the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC). Posting on the internet media platform X, he has questioned the claim of the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann government of giving "jobs without money, without recommendation."
