Raghav Chadha's Popularity Plummets Among Young Voters Amid Political Controversies

Raghav was married to actress Parineeti Chopra. An AAP leader became a celebrity leader within a few months. The generation that took him head-on seems to be turning its back on him. Speaking to a television channel, Ajay Gudvarti, associate professor of political science at JNU, says, "The image of a politician is very fragile. The younger generation always expects young MPs to bring in a new culture of public morality and clean politics. Chadha had built an image of being a leader who always fights for people's issues. But recent political developments have disappointed his young supporters. The'Gen-G'youth are very sensitive to betrayals or political moves for their own benefit. They feel that if a leader abandons idealism and goes the old way, they reject him immediately."
