Rahul Gandhi Condemns Government Restrictions on Free Speech

Rahul Gandhi said that the students wanted to speak at Jantar Mantar. According to him, the students were upset and wanted to express their anguish, but the government stopped them from doing so. He said that it is said by the government that arrangements will be made at Jantar Mantar and people cannot be allowed to speak. Rahul Gandhi, referring to a woman he met at the event, said that the daughter of the woman was raped and murdered in Uttarakhand four years ago. According to Rahul, the woman was crying and wanted to speak, but she was also not being allowed to speak by the system. Rahul Gandhi alleged that the government and its political India wants to impose a system which is in the interest of the government and some other people. He said that the government's job is to implement a system in the country, while his job is to give India a chance to speak and break that system. Rahul Gandhi claimed that the Union Home Minister could not sleep at night. He claimed that the Prime Minister could not disturb him.
