Rahul Gandhi Condoles Death of Indian National Killed in Strait of Hormuz Missile Attack

Shivanand Chaurasia, a resident of Surauli village in Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh, was recently killed in a missile attack on a ship in the Strait of Hormuz. It is reported that Shivanand worked on the ship and during this time the accident happened. Congress leader Ajay Kumar Lallu informed Rahul Gandhi about this incident. Youth Congress leaders reached Shivanand Chaurasia's house on Wednesday. During this, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was given a call from the deceased's brother Ram Pravesh. During the phone call, Rahul Gandhi and the deceased's brother had a conversation in which the family shared information about the incident. Ram Pravesh told Rahul Gandhi that his brothers worked on the ship and were killed when a missile fell on them. He also said that his brother's body has not been returned yet. On this, Rahul Gandhi asked whether the body has been recovered. The brother of the deceased said that the body has not been found yet, but it will be found soon. Rahul Gandhi said that he wants to meet the family and expressed his condolences.
