Rahul Gandhi Slams Central Government Over Student Protests, Absence of Union Home Minister

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on the central government at the'Constructive Congress Conference '. He alleged that the country's system is not working properly and the government wants to impose its orders on the people, students and victims instead of listening to their voices. Rahul Gandhi also raised questions about the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Parliament. He said that Home Minister Amit Shah did not come to the House and questioned where he was missing for 20 days. Rahul Gandhi asked why PM Modi does not hold press conferences. Rahul Gandhi also targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the Prime Minister does not sleep at night. Referring to the students'protest at Jantar Mantar, Rahul Gandhi said that the students wanted to have their say. They were in pain and wanted to tell their problems, but the government said that order has to be maintained at Jantar Mantar and they will not be allowed to have their say. Rahul Gandhi also mentioned the case of a woman who was allegedly raped and strangled to death in Uttarakhand four years ago.
