In a major setback to the proposed program of the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, permission for Rahul Gandhi's dialogue program "Students'Goonj" to be held on 8 August at the famous'KP Ground'in the city has been cancelled by the KP Trust on Wednesday evening. The acting president of the KP Trust, Jitendra Nath Chaudhary, has given three main reasons behind the cancellation of the permission for the program. The DM's permission has not been given to the Congress on the condition that they will take the necessary permission from the District Magistrate (DM) for the event, but no permission has been received from the administration yet. A big dialogue program of Rahul Gandhi titled "Students'Goonj" was proposed in Prayagraj on 8 August. Through this program, Rahul Gandhi was to directly communicate with the competing students on paper leak, unemployment and other important issues related to the students. The Congress was putting all its strength to make this program a success. On Wednesday, the president of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee Ajay Rai had reached Prayagraj to take stock of the preparations for the famous'Hanuman Pujan'program.
