Railway Families Face Eviction: 7-Day Notice Sparks Protests in India

RAJKOT: Senior Section Engineer Fifth Railway Division Kothikampound Rajkot has given a short notice of seven days to vacate the pressurized area of the railway system. About 250 families have been living in this area for the last 70 years. Congress leaders Gayatriba Vaghela, Atul Rajani and Dilip Aswani demanded from Divisional Railway Manager Shri Meena to take a humane approach and do justice to these poor families.
