Raj Thackeray Questions Police Officer's Loyalty Over RSS Conference Attendance

In a post on Facebook, Raj Thackeray said that a police officer's loyalty should only be towards his duties and responsibilities. But Nangre Patil appears to be eager to publicly show his commitment to the RSS. This comment by Adhyapanraj Thackeray comes after a video went viral in which Vishwas Nangre Patil is seen addressing a Hindu conference organised by the Hindu Sakal Samaj. After this video, which went viral on Thursday, a political controversy erupted. Nangre Patil has been appointed as the Police Commissioner of Nagpur this week. Adhyapanraj Thackeray said in his post that anyone who tries to understand who organises such conferences and what are their real objectives will easily understand who is behind them. He said that any political party or non-political organisation has the right to organise events and voice their views, but the real question is, should a serving government officer, especially a police officer, attend such events? Raj Thackeray wrote, "If you have faith in one of the police officers, do you forget it?"
