Rajasthan Minister Demands Clean Chit or Arrest Amid Corruption Probe

Rajasthan politics took a new turn on Friday (June 19) when Cabinet Minister for Agriculture Dr. Kirori Lal Meena himself reached the office of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). Questioning the functioning of the investigating agency of his own government, the minister said that the ACB is trying to tarnish his image. Not only this, he clearly said that either he should be given a clean chit immediately or he should be arrested. Dr. Kirori Lal Meena reached the ACB office to give his arrest in the case of alleged raids in fake seed factories. Although there is no FIR against him nor has the investigating agency considered him an accused yet. Despite this, the minister's arrival at the ACB office itself remains a topic of discussion in the political corridors. Speaking to the media after reaching the ACB office, Kirori Lal Meena claimed that the Anti-Corruption Bureau is tarnishing his image under a conspiracy. He said that after an FIR was registered, it was given to the media that Dr. Meena is also a suspect in the case. He also said that the doctor is also a minister.
