Rajkot, Dt. 23: Flames of internal discontent have surfaced in the Rajkot city BJP organization. Former city BJP minister and former Mahila Morcha minister Meeraben Vora has resigned from the Bharatiya Janata Party, alleging serious negligence in the party. In a letter addressed to the city BJP president Madhavbhai Dave, Meeraben Vora has expressed her anguish that she has been associated with the ideology of the BJP since 1995 and started her political career from the Hathikhana area. She has sincerely performed many important responsibilities in the party like ward general secretary, ward president, city BJP minister and executive member. The most shocking allegation in the resignation is that she was not informed of any program by the organization for the last two years. Despite being active in the Nageshwar area and fighting for the issues of the people, she was constantly neglected by the local leaders of the party. Miraben Vora said that she has finally decided to resign from the party.
