Rajkot Municipal Corporation Election Sees Low Turnout Amid Resentment Among Workers

RAJKOT: A 51.18 voter turnout of 51.18 was recorded in the municipal corporation elections this time to decide the fate of 72 candidates out of a total of 9.85 lakh voters. It is worth mentioning that this time the undercurrent is seen in the voters in the entire Saurashtra including Rajkot, which is most feared by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Because of the resentment among the workers after the announcement of candidates in many places including Rajkot. The fate of 72 candidates of 18 wards of Rajkot Municipal Corporation was sealed in the EVMs today. The heat in Rajkot has affected the voters. The fate of all the candidates has been sealed in the EVM. The counting of all the candidates will be done on April 28. Ward 18 of Rajkot Municipal Corporation has recorded a 51.18 voter turnout, in which ID8 (55.87 male and ID7 (ID5) voted the least, while Ward No. 15 has the lowest female voter turnout (ID2796).
