Rajkot Municipal Corporation Elections: Nominations Counting Begins as BJP Announces Candidate List

RAJKOT: The counting of nominations for the 72 seats of the Rajkot Municipal Corporation elections has begun. The BJP will announce the list of all 72 candidates by tonight. After much deliberation, Manamana and Maanayata have finally been selected and the names will be announced anytime in the afternoon. Those who have been selected to contest the elections have started getting calls. Two candidates are also said to have received calls. Today all the names have gone to the parliamentary board and those who have to contest the elections have also been ordered to be ready. Tomorrow is the last day to file nominations for the elections. Tomorrow all the candidates will file their nominations.
