Raju Karpada Joins Bharatiya Janata Party in Gujarat Ahead of Local Elections

Raju Karpada seen with BJP leaders (by Fazal Chauhan) Wadhwan, Dt. 9: There is a big upheaval in the politics of Saurashtra before the elections. Former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and farmer leader Raju Karpada has officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party today. Raju Karpada, along with a large number of his supporters, reached the BJP state office'Kamalam'in Gandhinagar, where he formally donned saffron. Raju Karpada, after resigning from the Aam Aadmi Party, held a'Kisan Yatra'on farmers'issues. He strengthened his hold in rural areas by marching from Tulsishyam to Visavadar. Now with him joining the BJP, a big change can be seen in the political equations of Surendranagar district. According to sources, the BJP may field Raju Karpada in the Surendranagar district panchayat elections. He is likely to contest from any seat.
