The political and administrative controversy over the offerings and collection of money at the Ram temple in Ayodhya is at the center of the country's politics at the moment. Pawan Pandey, who was a minister in the SP government of UP, had expressed fears that up to Rs. 75 million of the donated money would go missing. Now the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has categorically denied all these claims. Some media reports and discussions also claimed that four people have been arrested on charges of stealing money from the donation box and some cash has been recovered.
