Rashtriya Lok Dal Appoints Aishwarya Raj Singh as Uttar Pradesh State President Ahead of Assembly Elections

Ahead of the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, the Rashtriya Lok Dal has appointed Aishwarya Raj Singh as the state president. This was announced on the party's official social media handle. Her appointment follows the resignation of former state president Dr. Ramashish Rai. She had submitted her resignation to national president Jayant Chaudhary earlier today. She has mentioned the increasing money power in politics, familyism, farmers not getting a fair price for their crops, as well as the democratic and constitutional crisis. She has described the party as bigger than the person and the country than the party. The appointment of Aishwarya Raj Singh after the resignation has sent a clear message to the party organization. It also shows its preparations for the upcoming elections. It is believed that more changes will be seen in the organization. Anupam Mishra was made the working president of the party before the elections. Ramashish Rayallo joined the BJP after the upcoming elections.
