Ruling Alliance Ministers Counter Akhilesh Yadav's Call for Opposition Unity

Akhilesh Yadav's call for opposition unity ahead of the Rajya Sabha elections in UP has been countered by ministers of the ruling alliance. Cabinet Minister Sanjay Nishad and Minister of State Danish Azad Ansari have called the claim of opposition unity hollow. While Cabinet Minister Sanjay Nishad accused the opposition of rhetoric, poster-baazi and confining to AC-PCs, Minister of State Danish Azad Ansari targeted the Samajwadi Party over its claims. Sanjay Nishad said that the opposition has no power except rhetoric, poster-baazi and AC-PCs. He said that the opposition has been seen by the people for 70 years. Leaders of different parties have formed their own parties or have come together with the NDA. Nishad said that Akhilesh sees a union when he is out of power, these statements are not going to do anything. Sanjay Nishad claimed that this time the NDA will win a historic victory. While Minister of State Danish Ansari said that the Samajwadi Party was making very big claims but now its poll claims have been blown out of the air by the Samajwadi Party.
