Russia Urges US to Seek Indian Help in Resolving Iran-US Conflict

Moscow: Amid a raging war crisis between Iran and the US, global politics has heated up. US President Donald Trump, cornered on all sides, is currently trying to woo Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing to save his credit and strike a peace deal. Russia has given the US very strong and concrete advice amid Trump's frustration and helplessness. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has clearly stated from the BRICS platform that if the US really wants a permanent and honourable solution to this war, it should resort to India's extensive diplomatic experience and global support instead of arm-twisting China or Pakistan. Russia has raised serious questions on Pakistan's credibility by giving very concrete reasons behind this advice. According to Lavrov, Pakistan can only provide short-term mediation or'fire-fighting ', but it cannot be trusted in the long-term. Pakistan has also recently shown Iranian jets hiding behind a mirror at the Air Khan International Airport in Washington.
