LUCKNOW: The Samajwadi Party wants to cross the threshold of assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh through the PDA (backward, Dalit and minority) votes. The Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party chief and UP minister has hit out at SP president Akhilesh Yadav over his poll strategy, saying that the PDA is coming, showing signs of a king. On the other hand, OP Rajbhar has shot an arrow at Akhilesh over the Bengal election results. The vote share of the NDA and SP-Congress is very low. In the UP assembly elections, the Samajwadi Party is adopting the same strategy to garner votes of backward, Dalit and minority communities as it did in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. In the Lok Sabha elections, the alliance of SP and Congress won 43 seats and got 43.52% of the votes. The rival NDA won 36 seats and got 43.69%, while in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the total of 64 seats, Akhilesh Yadav, the president of the PDA, is working on 80 seats to unite the PDA against the PDA.
