The politics of the district has heated up after the statement made by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during his visit to Barabanki. At the program held at Lodheshwar Mahadev temple in Ramnagar, the Chief Minister had accused six-time Samajwadi Party MLA Farid Mahfuz Kidwai that he did not send proposals related to the development of the area to the government. Now on this statement, the MLA has given a detailed reply by holding a press conference. He claimed that he sought time to meet the Chief Minister four times, even sent several letters, but never got an opportunity to meet him. In the press conference held at the Samajwadi Party office in Barabanki, Farid Mahfuz Kidwai said that he requested to meet the Chief Minister several times through telephone and written letters. According to him, there was constant correspondence on various issues related to the development of Ramnagar area, whose registry and documents are safe with him. The MLA said that the allegations made from the stage of the Chief Minister are factually incorrect. The SP MLA said that the identification of the area has been found to be a Chinese ID for the last 1 years. He also did not raise the issue regarding the construction of the bridge in Suratganj many times.
