A day before the Raksha Bandhan festival, the Samajwadi Party set up a shop in front of the district office in Amethi to provide relief to the general public and distributed sugar at the rate of Rs 13 per kg. The program held on Thursday (August 27) provided sugar at the fixed rate to a large number of people. The program was led by Samajwadi Party's Amethi district president Ram Udit Yadav. Samajwadi Party Amethi senior leader Shiv Pratap Yadav BRC provided about five quintals of sugar for distribution. Party office bearers and workers distributed sugar to the people. During the event, SP leaders described it as an initiative to give a message against inflation and to provide relief to the general public on the occasion of the festival. Samajwadi Party's Amethi district president Ram Udit Yadav said that providing relief to the general public in the era of inflation is the priority of the Samajwadi Party. He accused the BJP government of failing to control inflation. He said that the common people are upset with the rising prices of everyday items. He said that the Samajwadi Party is trying to provide relief to the poor by reaching out to them. Udit Yadav said that the program shows the party's commitment to provide sugar to the people.
