Uttar Pradesh's politics is already in flux. Though Assembly elections in the state are due next year i.e. 2027, political parties have started playing their own games. In this series, the key partner of the (BJP) -led NDA alliance, Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party (SBSP), has started laying the election paper. Subhaspa has staked its claim to 32 seats in the entire Uttar Pradesh within the NDA for the upcoming elections. Most interestingly, Subhaspa has the strongest fort in its direct sight i.e. Azamgarh. Subhaspa's national general secretary and chief spokesperson Arun Rajbhar has made it clear that his party is working with full force on the ground. He said on Sunday (14 June 2026) that the party has demanded 32 seats under the alliance, the main objective of which is to end the Samajwadi Party's dominance in Azamgarh. Arun Rajbhar himself announced that he will contest the elections from Atraulia and Atraulia assembly seats in Azamgarh district.
