Congress MP Shashi Tharoor on Friday praised Rahul Gandhi's leadership and said that now is the time to change the atmosphere in the party's favour. He expressed confidence that it will happen. Shashi Tharoor visited the Congress office (24, Akbar Road) to congratulate Rahul Gandhi on his 56th birthday. Tharoor presented him with a bouquet and a book. After meeting Rahul Gandhi, Shashi Tharoor said, "I have come to wish him continued resolve, strength, determination and strength in leading the fight for a more inclusive democracy in our country. We need a strong opposition, and that is exactly what we will get under Rahul Gandhi. We have won the elections in Kerala after 10 years out of power, next year there are elections in Punjab, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
